Huge congrats to Samantha for winning handwriter of the month in Willow class for October! She has made a huge effort in her handwriting work and in all of her copies. Well done Samantha, Willow class are so proud of you!
The PTA, Board of Management, staff and pupils would like to thank you most sincerely, for supporting our recent cake sale.
Thanks to your generous support, we raised €454.56. This money will go directly towards costs of skipping workshops for all classes. Thank you to everyone who donated cakes, treats and drinks, who helped out on the day, who attended our cake sale and for giving money to your child/children to support the event. Our next big event is the Winter Fair which is on December 7th! The PTA and student council are delighted to host our annual cake sale in the hall this Friday. We are asking our school community to support this event for the provision of skipping workshops for the children in the school. Skipping is an excellent way to promote fitness, increased hand, feet and eye coordination and it's lots of fun. We are looking for donations of cakes, buns, snacks and treats for the Cake Sale.We are looking for parent volunteers to support setting up the hall and stalls from 11am on Friday!
We were so excited for Euan when he won student of the week today! Euan won this award for showing lots of enthusiasm for Maths week. Euan encouraged others during our maths trails and has been using his ‘maths eyes’ all week. Well done Euan we're so proud of you!
Wow a super fun maths morning! We loved having the parents of Willow and Rose class join us for some fun maths games. It was such a special treat to show off all the maths we've been learning. We even had our Willow class parents join us to listen to our assembly song! There'll be lots of other opportunities to pop into Willow class throughout the school year and we can't wait to have you all back again soon.
Willow class had so much fun completing our maths trail around the school. We made maths eyes posters for homework this week and now we see maths EVERYWHERE! Maths is so much fun! We can't wait to sing our maths song for assembly tomorrow too!
We are looking forward to raising awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Day tomorrow, 19th October. We will be hosting an information display in the Yew Room from 8.30 tomorrow morning - there will be videos, information leaflets, displays of work from some children and our very own SLT Neasa (who works specifically with the Birch Class) will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you there.
Dear parents,

The children would love to have you join in on their learning and show off their maths skills. If you are available to join us please let Róisín know at any stage this week. My email addresses is [email protected] We hope to see you on Friday. Dear parents,
